Volunteer
 More
than 78,000 people are homeless on any given night in Los Angeles
County. Nearly half are women and children. Although the sheer number
of homeless individuals seems overwhelming, you can make a difference.
From mobile
outreach to homeless women living on the street to arts and crafts
with mothers and children, there are many ways to share your time
and talents with Good Shepherd Center.

Becoming a part of the Auxiliary or Young Professionals Group (YPG)

Founded in 1985,
the Good Shepherd Center Auxiliary provides a rewarding opportunity
for members to touch the lives of homeless women and children. The
Auxiliary is a volunteer support group of women and men who give
time, talent and resources to support the mission of Good Shepherd
Center.
In addition
to the many hands-on activities designed to enhance the quality
of life for Good Shepherd Center's residents, the Auxiliary dedicates
its efforts to providing financial support through its annual Forget
Me Not Luncheon.
To learn more
about the Auxiliary or how you can help, please call Emma Dry at
323-934-9128.

Established in
2001 as a Good Shepherd Center membership organization, YPG offers
volunteer and fundraising support to Good Shepherd Center, while
also providing social networking and professional development opportunities
to its members. The group hosts volunteer and social events throughout
the year and encourages young adults of all professions, faiths,
races, genders and ethnicities to participate.

YPG provides all of the supplies you'll need.
